I have been seeing Danielle for years and recommend her to all of my friends…and now, to all of the internet! Since I work in a school, I usually do more conservative during the year and do crazy things for summer. She’s done short hair, long hair, dyed me all sorts of fun colours (I think the icy blonde with purple colour melt at the roots was my favourite), and is always up for whatever. She gives my friend a killer Anna Wintour bob, and recently another friend loved Danielle’s work so much that the friend actually *cried*. To conclude: DANIELLE Y’ALL, DANIELLE. Also I appreciate their booking system online but it can be confusing. Just give the salon a call if you get turned around on the website, because everyone else who works there is also helpful and nice.

I am a longtime customer of L’Atelier and they always do such amazing work on my hair. The staff is so friendly and kind, they make me feel like family. Anna always make sure I am comfortable and the result is exactly what I pictured, and it is!! Thank you for always making it look so beautiful and leaving me with a smile on my face 💗

I’ve had many hair and head massages before, but Charlotte at L’Atelier Coiffure truly stood out. Even though it wasn’t part of her usual role, she stepped in to help her colleagues so I wouldn’t be left waiting — and I’m so glad she did. Her professionalism and skills were exceptional! Honestly, it was the best hair and head massage I’ve had. Thank you again, Charlotte — I’ll definitely be coming back !

I was in Montreal for a formal event and my hair had all fallen out two hours before the event. I called this salon and they were able to fit me in right away. The stylist was amazing and did a fantastic job. I was so happy and thankful that they were able to help me. So if you need a stylist or any other service, these guys are amazing ❤️

I’ve genuinely never had such a great experience at a hair salon! Everyone was so kind, helpful, and attentive. I am blessed with very thick hair, which meant my appointment ran a bit longer than anticipated/required having a few team Members working on it. Despite the last minute change in scheduling, each of them took their time to do their best work and give me the highest quality service. I am so grateful! Thank you to Marina for the most beautiful blonde balayage, to Hugo for the best beach waves, and to all the assistants who contribute to giving us clients the most comfortable experience (delicious coffee, amazing hair washing/head massages, etc.). Can’t wait to be back! :)

My go to place since they opened! They care about you, they give you the most amazing scalp massage and my hair always looks healthy after a visit. I have a lot of allergies and they even keep notes on file of what products to not use on me.

I’m Looking for a Hair Stylist, that’s what my wife said to me, her husband. OK, I knew that this would involve an in depth search as only a retired Project Manager could accomplish. I found a Salon, she said one day on a walk through, Vieux Montreal. There it was L’Atelier Coiffeur et Esthétique. We do a lot of appointments together so I could give my opinion on this occasion too. The day of our rendez vous …We were met by Charlotte and showed where we got our pantoufles and hung up our jackets (January). The warmth was very pleasant as was the very mild scent of coffee. I found my chair, out of the way but from a good observation point in the shampooing area. What struck me was everyone seemed to be glad to be here. There was a lot of interaction. This place was a bee hive of activity and secondly everyone was truly enjoying themselves, including myself. I decided to go and check on my darling. She was in the chair and introduced me to Melissa who had transformed her. I agreed that I loved the new look but my question was how does one have and keep that look. Melissa had a product suitable for that purpose. I could tell that my wife was happy with the results thus far and I agreed that she looked lovely. Before leaving the area at the front, Melissa encouraged me to try some coffee from their nice Italian coffee maker, she meant the shiny machine, not Charlotte, who with a smile, handed me a freshly made espresso. So I retreated back to my chair and settled in with my warm brew in hand. I would guess that 20 minutes had passed by when my wife greeted me. She was flanked by Melissa and Marina. I sort of knew Marina she wasn’t aware but I had watched her do a colouring in a client’s hair and thought that’s a lot of work taking her time expertly layering her client’s hair. Carefully placing very thin layers of translucent white paper in amongst the hair using a thin comb. She gracefully executed this work with precision and always a smile. Almost t

while in montreal i desperately needed my hair washed and blown out. i didn’t make an appointment but was greeted with smiles and the ability to take me as a walk in. can’t say enough about these ladies, so kind and hospitable. the shampoo was amazing i could have stayed there for hours. they blow dried my hair and curled it. i was traveling through from the U.S. and forgot my blow dryer. appreciated how amazing they made me feel. next time i visit i’m definitely making an appointment.

Melissa is the BEST hairstylist in Montral, period. I’m ready to fight anyone who disagree 😂 I finally found someone that truly care about my hair! She took the time to understand what I really wanted, she gave me a lot of advices to take care of my hair and the result was… PERFECTION. My wife couldn’t believe how amazing my hair looked.
